Congratulations Chris, Tracy and big sister Viola.  Your new addition is absolutely perfect!

]]> http://devinestudios.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=3212 0 Jason and Cara Engaged!-kansas city-wedding-photographers http://devinestudios.com/blog/?p=3206 http://devinestudios.com/blog/?p=3206#comments Wed, 25 Apr 2012 16:31:17 +0000 Joe http://devinestudios.com/blog/?p=3206 I have known Cara and Jason for almost 7 years now.  We once worked together at Citi Cards.  Over the past 7 years they have been inseparable and always adorable together.  Meeting up in the cafeteria for their lunches and breaks, holding hands as they walked back to their cubicles.  Then on the awesome and rare occasion that we would see them outside of work they were even more affectionate.  Snuggling and laughing, holding hands and kissing.  Just adorable!  We had the pleasure of photographing her best friend Kara’s wedding in 2010 and will be photographing Kara’s sister Melyssa’s wedding in June where we are sure to run into them again.  We just can’t shake these two, and why would we want too?  Cara is a joy to be around.  Always smiling and upbeat and laughing quite frequently at any attempt at a joke, even when it isn’t very funny, which is always an endearing quality.  And Jason is quite funny though often reserved and steady, always there to grab Cara’s hand and pull her in for a hug or kiss.

We had so much fun on their engagement session.  We shared stories, jokes and laughter as they easily snuggled, flirted and laughed together in front of the camera.  After a few downtown pictures and a cute setup with Jason’s fireman gear we headed off to a field to have a little wine picnic.  Jason proposed at a winery so it was the perfect idea for their engagement photos.  Nothing takes my breath away more than a gorgeous couple in love in a field swallowed by the golden rays of the sun.  Stunning, just stunning!  I hope you enjoy this small glimpse into the great love that is Cara and Jason. :)

Prepare yourself, I saved the best for last.  These field shots are amazing!

Congratulations Cara and Jason.  We can’t wait to continue your love story on September 1st!

Crew or Urban Outfitters commercial :)  It was so wonderful being a part of their wedding day and I hope you enjoy our favorite highlights!
